Brief History Lesson:

• The original concept of Monopoly was crafted in 1903 by American anti-monopolist Lizzie Magie, who created a game called Landlord’s Game to highlight the negatives of land concentration in private monopolies. Over time, various versions emerged, but the most famous one – Monopoly – was commercialized by Charles Darrow in 1933.
